The project page lists Varmite as author, Forge as loader and Minecraft 1.20.1 as the supported game version. Verity's AI features introduce privacy questions beyond ordinary local mod files. An online Groq setup sends prompts or conversation data to an external service according to that service's configuration and policies. Do not paste passwords, personal documents, API keys or private server information into an AI conversation.

Ollama can process a model locally, but the surrounding mod, configuration and network environment still deserve review. Keep the local service bound as narrowly as practical and do not expose it publicly without understanding authentication and firewall controls. Voice interaction also requires microphone access, so verify which application has permission and disable access when you are not using it.
