This Privacy Policy applies to verityminecraft.wiki, an independent Verity Mod information and download-source guide. By using the site, you acknowledge the practices described below.
1. Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, analytics and advertising providers may receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps and error or performance data. We use this information to operate the site, understand page use, detect abuse and improve navigation.
The site currently includes Microsoft Clarity and may display Google AdSense advertising. Those providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and your consent or browser choices where required.
2. Support messages
If you email support@verityminecraft.wiki, we receive the address, subject, message and attachments you choose to send. Do not include API keys, account passwords, private server addresses or unredacted logs containing secrets. We use support messages to answer questions, review corrections and investigate site problems.
We retain messages only as long as reasonably needed for support, evidence review, abuse prevention or legal obligations.
3. Download countdowns and external destinations
The site does not require an account to use its download links. When you click a download or source button, JavaScript may run a 15-second in-page countdown and then navigate to a project CDN or third-party site. We do not receive the contents of the file you download from that destination.
Modrinth, CurseForge, GitHub, YouTube, MCPEDL and other external services have their own logs, cookies, accounts and privacy policies. Review their policies before using them.
4. Verity AI services and microphone data
Verity Minecraft Wiki does not operate the Groq or Ollama configuration used by a Verity mod. If you configure an online AI provider, that provider and the mod may process prompts or conversation data according to their software and policies. A local Ollama setup is controlled by your device and network configuration.
This website does not request microphone access. Microphone permission used by Minecraft, Java, a launcher or a mod remains between you, your device and that software.
5. Cookies and choices
Cookies may be used for security, analytics, advertising frequency, consent and service preferences. You can limit or remove cookies through browser settings, privacy extensions or provider-specific controls. Blocking some technologies may affect embedded video, advertising or analytics but should not remove the crawlable guide content.
6. Sharing and security
We may share data with providers that host, secure, measure or monetize the site, or when required to comply with law, protect users or investigate abuse. We do not sell support email content as a contact list.
No website can promise perfect security. Use strong account practices on third-party services and never post private credentials in a public troubleshooting report.
7. Children's privacy
The site is a general-audience Minecraft resource and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted personal information through support email, contact us to request review and deletion where appropriate.
8. Policy updates and contact
We may update this policy when site features, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version.
